Kris Kotsopoulos and his team at K9 Security have been working with Walkers Group on a number of their key projects in and around Melbourne since their introduction to the first project, Kew Cottages in October 2007.
ReplyDeleteSince this time K9 Security continues to provide a unique security service across a number of Walkers projects and this has enabled Walkers to build a close working relationship and utilise the wide verity of security / liaison officer services that K9 Security provides.
On the Kew Cottages site Walkers have been able to rely on K9 Security to provide ongoing support. This project is a large land holding at Kew and is a joint venture with the Victorian Government. In the past the site has proven to be a very high security risk for Walkers with the construction of multimillion dollar houses / developments.
Prior to K9 Security being introduced to the site for night security the site was broken into a number of times, even with the previous site security company present. Since K9 Security’s introduction Walkers are pleased to say the site has not had any further incidents and we continue to have a K9 Security presence on the site.
K9 Security provides a service that goes beyond a normal security service. The security / liaison officers have also played a key role in the management of the site during the day and have been able to deal with the sometimes testing clients at the Kew Cottages site, always handling the varied situations with a professional approach.
K9 Security maintains an extremely high standard with both their security / liaison officers and the dogs that they work with. K9 Security is very aware of the dog’s well being and all their dogs are highly trained with amazing capabilities.

I am the Security Manager for AMP Retail, Knox Shopping Center and Knox O-Zone, part of our area of concern is a licensed venue precinct that incorporates a variety of venues, including bars, restaurants and nightclubs as well as a major shopping center.
ReplyDeleteWe had been experiencing some behavioral issues around our venues and in the car parks so we engaged Detector Dogs Australia. Kris Kotsopoulos was able to provide prompt and professional service in organising the appropriate canine patrols, which suited our environment. Since the introduction of the dog handlers, we have received favorable comments from both tenants and patrons that believe the environment has become safer.
We are still using the service today, and we are very happy with the professionalism shown by the handlers; both in the way they interact with the public and staff, and in the way they present themselves while on patrol.
